ClassPass is now in Cincinnati and allows you to try out several different fitness classes.

Cincinnati’s fitness scene is growing everyday. In a city full of different types of health and wellness classes, the national brand ClassPass thought it was time to finally bring its fitness network to the Queen City.

“ClassPass is the leading membership to the world’s largest fitness network and connects members to a variety of fitness experiences to choose from, including yoga, cycling, pilates, barre, running, strength training, dance, sports, videos, and more,” explains Public Relations Manager Lauren Craft.

Craft says ClassPass decided to bring the program to Cincinnati because of how much the studio fitness scene has grown as of recently. “Taking our technology to the Queen City was an obvious next step,” she says. “We’re excited to encourage the already health-conscious community there to discover and try new fitness experiences, while also helping to promote and expand local businesses.”

ClassPass was launched in 2013 after Founder Payal Kadakia was searching for an after-work dance class to take in New York City. “After countless Google searches, schedule cross-checking, and frustrating log-in attempts, Payal never made it to the class,” says Craft. “Rather than chalk up that evening as a failure, Payal created an idea. Working out shouldn’t be hard, and what if there was a way to make it easy?”

ClassPass started as an app and website that aimed to help make it easy for people to find and book fitness classes. Craft says that idea is now changing how people live their lives. “Whether we’re bringing together a community of enthusiasts, helping people find the activities that make their true selves come alive, or supporting small businesses and studios across the entire globe, we believe that being active is the key to living a happy and healthy life,” she adds.

Through ClassPass, you can purchase a variety of deals:

  • 3-Class Plan: $20/month
  • 5-Class Plan: $35/month
  • 10-Class Plan: $70/month

And since ClassPass launched on October 24, you can try it out for just $9 by clicking here. Craft says when you purchase your classes through ClassPass, you’ll spend as little as $7 per class.

You aren’t limited to only Cincinnati when you purchase ClassPass. “ClassPass is a monthly membership that gives you access to thousands of different fitness studios and gyms in your city and around the world,” says Craft. “Flexibility is also key since members have access to a library of on-demand video workouts and the ability to reserve classes in Cincinnati and in 42 other cities around the world.”

Craft touts the affordable price of ClassPass, stating that it is cheaper than paying per studio visit, and the membership’s unique features also make joining worth it. “You can connect with friends and follow along to see what workouts they’re doing or the simplicity of being able to search by type of workout, difficulty, studio location, class time, and much more,” she says.
