The countdown is on. Officially one week until Christmas. With the new baby, I’ve been short on time and also seeing how a huge chunk of our budget now goes to diapers, formula and college savings… I’ve become quite the savvy shopper.

One of the biggest things I’ve discovered this year is Groupon Coupons, so I thought I’d share it with you in case Santa isn’t planning on taking care of that gift list for you this year.

So, if you’re anything like me, you hear Groupon and think of half off your favorite restaurant, right? Yes, that’s true. But I found a ton of other stuff on there too like Groupon Goods — got a Red’s pen for my dad and an Autocross racing package for my husband ($159 instead of $679!) to drive a Ferrari F430 on a raceway up in Columbus!

But here’s where I really fell in love with Groupon is when I discovered their Coupons page. Mind you, I’m not a big couponer. I don’t have time to clip, sort and keep track of them. But I do have time to check a site before I buy something to see if there’s a discount code. And that’s essentially what Groupon Coupons is.

Just go there and search for the store you want like BabiesRUs, Sam’s Club, Kohl’s, Office Depot, JC Penney, FootlockerHarry and David, Nine West, Loft, and even Lord & Taylor. There are 70,000 coupons from 9,000+ stores to choose from, so you’re bound to find something.

You just copy the code they give you or just click on the post and it’ll take you to the site you want to shop on, with the discount auto-applied to your cart. I’ve used it a few times already and it’s the real deal. So just bookmark the site and check it before you buy anything to see if it can save you something!

Pretty cool huh? (Not as cool as Santa buying for everyone on your shopping list, but a close second) 🙂
