To me, the greatest thing about being an editor and morning news anchor is that I get to learn something new every day. What’s more, I get to share what I learn with all of you – so it’s like we’re learning things together, at the same time. That’s pretty cool.

As you’ll learn in this month’s issue of Cincinnati Profile, social media takes our interactive learning process to a whole new level. It used to take time to gather, process and assimilate information – now, everything is available for us to share in real time. In a way, we’re all both teachers and students.

This month, we’ll also learn how one couple’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked traditional preschool education up a notch (in a very profitable way). We’ll also learn that Cincinnati has a deep cultural history for you to explore, and an equally rich musical heritage. We’ll find out where we can hone our driving skills and how to enhance our financial literacy (something that, given the markets’ recent downturn, is more important than ever). Plus, we learn that the number one party school in the country just might be the perfect place to get a “real” education. (As an alumnus of Ohio University myself, it’s like I’ve always said: any school can be a “party school.” It’s what you make of it.)

I sincerely hope that, if nothing else, this month’s issue inspires you to keep learning. After all – in many ways, that’s what life is all about.

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,
Pete
